WHO ARE WE?
Hi, I’m Diana…My partner (and now husband) John and I met during scuba diving lessons in Montana…six months later we were on our way to a live-aboard dive boat vacation in the British Virgin Islands. Seven months after that we had packed up everything we owned (and had left after the garage sale) and were on our way to Florida for a weeks worth of sailing lessons so we could buy a sailboat and see the world !
That was 29 years ago. Seven hurricanes ago. A knockdown of our sailboat in the middle of the night. A lethal storm. A broken rudder just a few days out of New Zealand. A sea anchor and self-steering vane that saved our lives.
Wedding photography and videos in Fiji at some of the most luxurious tropical resorts in the world for 10 years. Restoring a 200 year old stone barn…by hand, one stone at a time. Life has been a non-stop adventure… calm and tranquil followed by wild and terrifying interjected with stunning beauty and awe-inspiring nature.
I wouldn’t have missed it for anything!

Lemons, Blood Oranges and Fresh vegetables growing all around us. Almonds and Walnuts falling from the trees.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil pressed from our own olive trees. Seafood arriving from a few miles away.
Fresh Ricotta and Caciocavallo cheese from the neighbor.
Creamy, caramel colored Carob honey from hives just down the road.
Eating healthy and eating well has never been easier.
SICILY “Land of Myth”
History is just plain oozing out of Sicily. From the caves in the rock ledges of Cava di Ispica that were inhabited by some of the first cavemen, to the amphitheaters of Siracusa, Palazzolo Acreide, Segesta and Selinunte. From the breathtaking hike to the top of La Rocca past the Temple of Diana in Cefalu, to the intricate and amazingly preserved tiled floors of Piazza Armerina. The stunning structures of Agrigento. The beautifully colored ceramics of Caltagirone. The ancient ruins of Noto Antica and on to the exquisite Baroque buildings of Noto. The chocolate of Modica. The wonderful old town areas of Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, Vizzini, Buccheri and Monterosso Almo. The sparkling seaside villages and colorful fishing boats. It’s almost to much to take in
…..but try.
